Straight does not equal homophobic
It never fails; at each and every anime-convention I have ever been to, there has always been a group of girls (sometimes a daring guy among them) ready to defend homosexuality. But they do it at the cost of other sexualities. They’ll run straight to two best friends hanging out by the merchandise and beg them to kiss. They don’t take no for an answer. Normally two of the following situations will then unfold:
Oh my god. Thisthisthis. I never realized because I never stuck around long enough to observe all of it unfold during cons. But THIS. I actually had people come up to me and my friend, once at a con, asking us to kiss. I was just like.. “ButweneedtogettotheartistsalleySORRY!” and dashed out of there. :(
